In the early days at Blanc Research, we were doing what most research teams do: designing surveys carefully, balancing quotas, picking trusted panels, running a few attention checks, and then turning the data into clean dashboards and confident recommendations. On paper, everything looked professional—response counts matched targets, charts were tidy, and the story flowed.
But then the real world happened.
Campaigns that should have worked… didn’t.

The moment we knew it had to exist
There was a specific moment that pushed this from “internal framework” to “product.”
A client had a segmentation study that produced what looked like a dream outcome: a large, high-intent cluster with clear preferences and strong purchase signals. Everyone loved it. The decks were ready. The campaign was funded.
But something felt off. The segment was too clean. Too consistent. Too “perfect.”
